 Students took interviews to the members of the project team in order to get their opinions on the rate of success of the project in the first project year.

Students and teachers will share their experiences , what they like and didn’t like, what they feel was a success and what needs to be improved.

BIOMASS IN OUR CITIES

Biomass in our cities.

Students have done an advertising campaign for promoting methods of using energy from biomass in their city. They have done a study in order to discover the sources of biomass energy that exist in their city. They came up with ways of using these resources for the production of energy and create leaflets and flyers.

Students headed on to the streets of the city, talked to locals about the energy from biomass and spreaded out the leaflets and flyers created. They highlighted  the importance of using renewable energy sources and the positive impact on the environment.

RENEABLE ENERGY SOURCES SEMINAR

Students and teachers hosted a seminar/conference at school on renewable energy sources. They invited a specialist/physicist to school to find out more about the negative effects of the non-renewable energy sources and the manner we can implement renewable energy sources.

Also the specialist explained students how to measure the carbon footprint.
