Students started preparations for a scientific project: they had to create a model of an energy production plant and use the current produced.
The model-energy production plant is based of renewable energy (biomass boiler models, hydroelectric stations, wind turbines, solar panels, etc.). Firstly, the students decided upon the type of project. They applied the knowledge learned during the project activities during physics classes.
They experimented on how to construct an model-energy production plant and used its power. The students elaborated an hypothesis. They made observations which allowed them to formulate a theory, an idea to be verified during the experiment.
Secondly students researched ways of creating the model-energy production plant.
They got help from physicists and other specialists in the field. They experimented in order to obtain electric energy.
They drew the conclusions and created the schemes necessary for building the power generator.
Finally they built the generator.
